Last year, Spartacus received a Christmas present that got put away with the decorations. It got pulled from the basement this past weekend as we put up our first *live* tree, and Spartacus has rediscovered this toy. And we have discovered it is the Greatest Christmas Present Ever For Anyone. WHAT IS IT, you ask? Indoor snowballs.
Indoor snowballs, you say? Why yes.
The are soft, and have a pleasant squish that feels just a little snowy (a little akin to how it feels to squeeze a hacky sack).
They are light, and you can throw them at people’s faces — even at close range — and they won’t hurt.
They usually won’t even knock over a full can of soda unless you’re really close.
And they will delight the preschooler in your life, and his father, and his uncle, and his 2-year-old sister, and his grandpa. In fact, I believe several of the hard-to-shop-for gentlemen in my family may be getting these for Christmas.
Amazon sells them in packs of 20 and 40 – get the 20. You need to find them all at the end of the night (which makes a great quiet activity for your now-overly-excited preschooler who just got to throw snowballs inside).
You can help support hELArious Lizzy’s blog by purchasing your very own set of snowballs from my links. They also are great for classrooms; I’m going to get a set for stretch breaks during our long AP English block classes! Probably the best $20 I’ve spent on classroom supplies.
May your Advent preparations be lovely and bright!
